Our clients expect consistency and familiarity, so having the same sitter for multiple daily AM and PM visits is essential to this role.

• Perform scheduled in-home cat care visits

• Feed cats and refresh water according to instructions

• Scoop and maintain litter boxes to a high standard

• Observe behavior, appetite, and overall health

• Provide cat-focused interaction, enrichment, or companionship

• Administer medications when required (oral, topical, injections)

• Perform light household duties and clean-up as needed

• Maintain the safety and security of clients’ cats and homes

• Send detailed visit updates with photos/videos via our app

• Communicate concerns promptly and professionally

• Transport cats to the veterinarian in emergency situations using your own vehicle

We’re seeking candidates with real, hands-on cat care experience, which may include:

• Professional cat sitting

• Working or volunteering with cat rescues or shelters

• Veterinary office or clinic experience

• Cat grooming experience

• Long-term personal experience caring for cats, including kittens, seniors, or cats with medical needs

A strong understanding of feline behavior, health, and routine is essential.

• Part-time, flexible scheduling, typically between 7:00am and 7:00pm

• Weekend and holiday availability is required (these are our busiest times)

Applicants must live within or very near our service area, which includes:

• Lauderdale-By-The-Sea

• Pompano Beach (East)

Assignments are scheduled close to your home whenever possible.

• Paid per visit: typically $15–$24 per visit (based on visit length and service type)

• Additional pay for holidays and last-minute requests

• 100% of tips and gratuities go directly to you

• Direct deposit payroll

• Proven experience caring for cats

• Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license

• Comfortable transporting cats when needed

• Smartphone with camera and internet access

• Strong written communication skills

• Availability to attend occasional company meetings via phone or Zoom

• Willingness to obtain Pet First Aid/CPR and other cat-care certifications (company paid)

• Ability to pass a background check

• Professional references required
